Customization Options

What you can brand, configure, and control across the authentication flow.

Desktop

QR Modal & Redirect Pages

On desktop, the SDK displays a QR code modal that you can configure through SDK options. After the user scans and completes verification on their phone, the redirect chain passes through Glide's endpoint and then to yours. Both steps offer customization.

Mobile Verification Page

For desktop-initiated flows, a web page hosted on your domain runs on the user's phone after they scan the QR code. This is where the user sees branded context about the authentication before completing the carrier flow. You have three options for how to approach this.

Build Your Own

Recommended

We provide the full source code as a reference. Build your own mobile verification page hosted on your domain, with your branding, messaging, and business logic. This gives you complete control over the user experience and is the most secure option since the user stays under your domain.

Use Our Template

Clone our reference implementation and customize it with your brand. Deploy to your infrastructure. Faster than building from scratch while still giving you full ownership.

Use Glide's Hosted Solution

We host and maintain the verification page on our infrastructure. Quickest to set up with no development required, but you have less control over branding and the user experience.

Mobile

Link Flow Redirect Pages

For mobile link flows (App Clips and carrier apps), the redirect chain passes through Glide's endpoint and then to your configured redirect URL. You control what the user sees at your endpoint.

StepWhat You Control
Glide's redirectOptional success/error page shown briefly before redirecting to you
Your redirect endpointFull control: close the browser tab, show a branded page, or redirect elsewhere

See Mobile Auth States for the full redirect chain and post-authentication options.
